Beginning August 1, 2024, four Southwell clinics will become outpatient departments of Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC). This includes the following practices located in Tifton at 2227 U.S. Highway 41 North, 2nd Floor:
• Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of South Georgia
• Pain Management Center
• Southwell Chiropractic
• Southwell Neurology Clinic
Though these practices will be licensed as hospital-based outpatient departments, the providers and services at these locations are not changing. Hospital-based outpatient clinics are held to nationally recognized service and patient care standards, leading to high quality care for patients.
Patients may receive two bills for services provided in the hospital-based clinic – one for the services provided by the physician and one for the goods and services provided by the facility.
