The Tift Regional Medical Center Foundation recently presented the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) award to Shea Seagraves, FNP-C at South Georgia Surgical.
“This $500 cash award was established by an anonymous donor, due to their love of the healthcare field,” says Mandy Brooks, TRMC Foundation Director. “The donor works closely with our APPs and wanted to honor them for being a LEADER within the organization. A LEADER is an individual who demonstrates the following characteristics: Demonstrates Leadership, Experience (at least 2 years of work experience), Actively motivates and impacts those around them, Makes a Difference, Creates a positive work Experience, and is a Role Model to others.”
Shea has been with South Georgia Surgical for 15 years. She is known for being a patient advocate and for her technical and communication skills. “Shea is a positive role model, and her skills are exceptional in the operating room. She is an intelligent and positive Nurse Practitioner,” states Dr. Andrew Nackashi, Physician at South Georgia Surgical.
