The late Joyce Mims and husband Larry Mims were named to the Wall of Fame during the Tifton-Tift County Chamber’s annual banquet held Feb. 6 at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center.
Joyce, a retired educator and community advocate, was a long-serving hospital trustee and board secretary. Larry, who currently serves on the Southwell Board of Directors, is a mediator/arbitrator as well as a Senior Judge of the State Courts of Georgia.
Joyce and Larry were inducted into the Wall of Fame by William Bowen, a fellow member of the Southwell Board of Directors and Chair of Southwell Ambulatory, Inc. William also accepted the Rotary Ethics in Business Award for the Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
